A Member-Driven Learning Community

The EDRT operates at the unique intersection of academic research and contemporary business applications. Its corporate members have the strategic advantage of learning from and contributing to the latest applied research on how successful executives drive their organizations and why executive development remains a key competitive advantage in business today.

EDRT is a collegial and open environment where upper-level executive development professionals can discuss best practice solutions, obtain industry-specific benchmarking tools, and gain the overall professional development they need by working in close partnership with research professors at the School of Management.

The vitality and balance members bring to these open forums allow them to better understand how they can maximize their own professional performance and how this strategic function is applied in leadership and organizational development across industries.

Established by Boston University School of Management, this dynamic, peer-based learning forum and research center is open to all organizations that view executive development as a strategic resource to produce value-added results for their businesses. Our diverse corporate partners join EDRT from a variety of industries and business settings. Their unique experiences and skills enrich our roundtable discussions, which are an EDRT hallmark.

A Curriculum with More Grounding

For the School of Management, EDRT provides direct access to the issues and challenges faced by companies among varied industries. Faculty and graduate students conduct research, study issues, and help develop strategies and solutions that change the way business is conducted. They also provide cutting-edge material and keep the School's curriculum grounded. The Roundtable provides the School with:

  • Funding for research
  • Access to corporate executives
  • Input into curriculum development
