Highlights from the Recent Undergraduate Finance Career Conference

pamphlet

In Fall 2010, the Feld Career Center at Boston University School of Management sponsored the conference “Your Future in Finance.” A response to today’s increasingly challenging recruiting environment, this event was designed to: 1) help undergraduate students, specifically those interested in pursuing a career in finance, become more employable, and 2) build bonds between current students and some of  SMG’s most successful alumni in this field.

Twenty-five young alumni returned to campus for the conference, leading multiple workshops for 60 undergraduate students.  The event also included a keynote address by Mark Casady, Chairman & CEO LPL Financial, Inc.; talks by School of Management Dean Kenneth Freeman and MSIM Director Scott Stewart; a networking lunch; and a cocktail reception.
