Graduate Student Profile

Graduate Students

At Boston University School of Management, we train leaders who have  a broad organizational vision, at least one specific functional expertise, and an in-depth knowledge of one or more industries.

Recruiters report that our graduates are well-trained in their chosen functional area, yet tend to be unusually adaptable as well. They fit comfortably into multi-cultural environments, they’re excellent collaborators on working teams, while they also understand the “big picture” of the organization.

The School has been placing increased curricular emphasis on preparing MBA graduates for the biggest growth areas of the next few decades: health sector and life sciences; digital technology; and energy and the environment.  We’ve also added a greater emphasis on social responsibility and exposure to global business practices and problems. The result:  graduates who see beyond their own desk, their own department.

Once employers hire one of our students, they inevitably return for more.

We offer a number of MBA degree programs and concentrations, including the unique MS·MBA dual degree in information systems and business administration.
