Deana graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a BA in English, first launching her career in Secondary Education. She then decided to transfer her teaching skills to the search placement/career consulting field, placing all levels of professionals in various functions, as well as industries. In addition to playing match maker for candidates and future employers, Deana played an integral role guiding candidates in writing more effective resumes and preparing them for successful interviews. Much of her time in the agency placement world was also spent building relationships and cultivating new business. In October 2013, Deana was thrilled to join the FCC where she could be back in higher-ed in a role that is perfect combination of helping students and fostering new business relationships. Outside of Recruiting Deana enjoys spending time with her family, supporting the arts, and sharing the stage with her community musical-theatre family.
