Graduate Student Profile
At Boston University School of Management, we educate future leaders who have a broad organizational vision, at least one specific functional expertise, and an in-depth knowledge of one or more industries.
Recruiters report that our graduates are well-trained in their chosen functional area, yet tend to be unusually adaptable as well. They fit comfortably into multi-cultural environments, they are excellent collaborators on working teams, and they understand the “big picture” of the organization.
The School has placed increased curricular emphasis on preparing MBA candidates for the projected growth areas in the next few decades: health sector and life sciences; digital technology; and energy and the environment. We have also added a greater emphasis on social responsibility and exposure to global business practices and problems. The result: graduates who see beyond their own desk, their own department.
We offer a number of MBA degree programs and concentrations, including the unique MS·MBA dual degree in information systems and business administration.
