EMBA Charitable Fund

The EMBA Charitable Fund was founded in May 2000 as a permanent endowed fund so that alumni were able to give back to the community and school that have enriched their lives. The goal was to establish a growing, charitable fund that grows in perpetuity and makes an impact

Since the inception of the Charitable Fund, over $130,000 has been raised by EMBA Classes towards the EMBA Charitable Fund and other charitable organizations.

The following charities have benefited from the generous donations made by EMBA alumni:

The Boston University EMBA Charitable Fund
The Boston University Graduate School of Management Fund
Crittenton Hastings House
Dorchester CARES
Exchange City
HarborCov
The Jimmy Fund
Kids Fund at the Boston Medical Center
The Len Sampson Education Foundation
Ray Tye Medical Foundation
Rosie’s Place
The Sandra Anne Foundation
SMA

Wayside Youth and Family Support Network

EMBA 12 Class Representative and Charitable Fund founder, Bob Baima, states that “it just feels great to hand a check to an organization that appreciates every dime.”

Another important way that EMBA classes have given back is by doing volunteer service work where they are literally making an impact on the community with their own hands.

left-quote The BU EMBA program has been a truly rewarding experience for me. Not only did I see a tangible return on my investment (promotion to senior management within 6 months of starting the program), I also benefited enormously from the incredibly deep and broad knowledge of the faculty and fellow students. right-quote
