Curriculum
The mission of the Public and Nonprofit Management Program (PNP) at Boston University is to prepare graduates to be strategic and effective leaders of nonprofit organizations and social enterprises in the public, nonprofit, and corporate sectors. Additionally, the program is dedicated to engaging all School of Management students in understanding the interchange among the public, nonprofit, and profit-making sectors and how the three sectors can work together to improve social and economic conditions worldwide.
Public and Nonprofit Management Curriculum
Students enrolled in the program earn a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in public and nonprofit management. The program combines a rigorous core business curriculum with elective courses in public and nonprofit management, a required summer internship, and an engaged alumni community of graduates resulting in a full and vigorous experience for students. Whether you are forming a new nonprofit, managing a large and well-established organization, or engaged in a corporate or private philanthropy or enterprise, you will learn the tools and skills you need to be successful.
