- Organizing activities outside the classroom to further educate School of Management students about management issues in the Public & Nonprofit sectors and to increase awareness about the program among both internal and external audiences.
- Expanding the student/alumni community through social networking and career development activities.
- Collaborating with the School of Management administration to strengthen the Public & Nonprofit Management Program

Symposium is an opportunity for students to showcase best practices and current topics in business. The event features keynote addresses and MBA club-sponsored panels bringing together our extended MBA community. At every Symposium corporate and nonprofit representatives include speakers from companies in a wide range of industries including finance, consulting, healthcare, biotechnology, marketing, and information technology. The event provides significant educational and networking opportunities for all attendees.
Link Day
BU MBA Link Day is an opportunity for small- to medium-sized nonprofit organizations to access cutting edge probono managerial expertise. Launched in April 2001 by Public & Nonprofit Management concentrators, this one-day consulting experience brings together nonprofits, MBA students, academics, and local professionals to analyze a specific problem facing an organization and provide practical strategic solutions.
Brown Bag Lunch Series
The lunch series is an opportunity for current students to meet informally with alumni and other leaders in the nonprofit field, to discuss challenges faced and solved, and to learn more about particular sectors. Brown bag "lunch and learns" are held approximately once every six weeks. Topics are selected by PNP students. Please email the PNP club for more information.
